And with that, Sketched Comedy draws to a close. I learned an awful, awful lot over the last few years. About cartooning. About comedy. About building a website. About confectionery. (Though that last one is largely unrelated to Sketched Comedy and a complete coincidence, but it was learned all the same.) And now it’s time to take all that knowledge and do something more worthwhile with it.
That is, I suppose, a rather blunt way of putting it. I’m proud of the work I’ve done with Sketched Comedy, but I’m not blind to its flaws. It even makes sense that it has them! When I started this, I had no idea what I was doing. (You, uh, probably noticed that.) Now I sorta do, and I want to do something more.
And that’s what Vagabond Starlight is.
I might come back to this some day. I’ll certainly have jokes that don’t suit Vagabond, but that I’ll still want to inflict upon the world. Maybe this could be a good release valve for that? Maybe. Ask me again after I’ve figured out how to tell a story with silly pictures.
This website ain’t goin’ anywhere, so the archive will be up for as long as I can pay my server bills. Come by and visit any time!
And I guess that about wraps it up. Thanks, once again, for allowing me to tell my stupid jokes on the Internet. I’ll see you space cowboys over at vagabondstarlight.com!
Oh, shit, I almost forgot. Always leave ‘em with a song.
